Cooking With Fresh Pasta

If you have never cooked with fresh pasta before, here are some tips.

  • Fresh pasta cooks fast. Be attentive to avoid mushy noodles :)

  • Heat water in the biggest pot you got. Pasta likes to dance!

  • Salt your water before it comes to a boil, and after it has reached its boiling point. As the Italians say, “Salty as the sea”.

  • Once the water has started to boil, add your noodles and gently stir. Wooden spoons work great!

  • Take the noodles out before they are done to achieve the perfect “Al Dente” texture.

  • As for sauces, each pasta varies. You will get an email with specific instructions based on the pasta of the week.
