Cooking With Fresh Pasta
If you have never cooked with fresh pasta before, here are some tips.
Fresh pasta cooks fast. Be attentive to avoid mushy noodles :)
Heat water in the biggest pot you got. Pasta likes to dance!
Salt your water before it comes to a boil, and after it has reached its boiling point. As the Italians say, “Salty as the sea”.
Once the water has started to boil, add your noodles and gently stir. Wooden spoons work great!
Take the noodles out before they are done to achieve the perfect “Al Dente” texture.
As for sauces, each pasta varies. You will get an email with specific instructions based on the pasta of the week.
